1. Introduction
Welcome to the SafeDrive Vehicle Insurance Management Platform. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SafeDrive web application, calculator widgets, portal dashboards, claims filing engines, and related tracking services. SafeDrive is operated as a digital vehicle insurance solution prototype.
By registering or using the portal, you confirm you are of legal age and possess the capacity to enter into binding agreements. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and policyholders.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, creating a user account, executing premium calculations, or submitting digital claims records, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all provisions within these documents, please immediately discontinue use of our services.
3. User Responsibilities
To preserve portal integrity and secure coverage evaluation, all users agree to the following obligations:
- Accuracy: Provide complete, accurate, and truthful details regarding your identity, contact information, vehicle description (make, model, year, value), driver's license records, and claim history.
- Maintenance: Keep your vehicle verification status, license validity, and driving record declarations updated.
- Fair Use: Refrain from submitting fraudulent incident photographs, falsified repair invoices, or deceptive damage descriptions in the claims portal.
4. Insurance Policies and Coverage
Summaries of coverage plans (such as Starter Protection, Smart Comprehensive, and Premier Elite) showcased on this platform are for informational comparisons. The actual scope of coverage, deductibles, exceptions, and limit caps are governed strictly by the official insurance certificate and policy contract issued post surveyor review. In the event of discrepancy, the official policy contract documentation prevails.
5. Payment Terms
Premium payments are processed securely via encrypted gateways. By selecting a subscription plan or payment schedule (such as monthly installments), you authorize SafeDrive to charge the designated payment card on the scheduled dates. Failure to clear renewal payments within 15 days of the due date will trigger a grace period notice and may lead to policy suspension.
6. Claims and Disputes
Accident or theft claims must be reported via the Submit Claim portal within 48 hours of the incident. It is mandatory to upload clear photographs showing vehicle damages, license plate, registration details, and police reports where applicable. SafeDrive reserves the right to assign certified digital or physical surveyors to inspect vehicle damages at authorized network workshops before approving cashless settlements. Disputes are subject to arbitration under local transport codes.
7. Limitation of Liability
SafeDrive, its officers, employees, and developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from service interruptions, portal down-times, transmission data loss, or unauthorized account modifications. All system operations are provided on an "as is" and "as available" baseline.
Disclaimer of Real Protection:
As described in the Disclaimer, this system does not issue legally binding vehicle insurance policies. No actual monetary settlements, legal liabilities, or cashless garage claims are paid by this academic prototype.
8. Account Usage
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (username and password) and maintaining active security settings on your profile. You agree to notify SafeDrive support immediately of any unauthorized access, suspicious claim submissions, or security breaches. SafeDrive is not liable for damages stemming from credentials sharing.
9. Termination of Services
SafeDrive reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict your account dashboard access at any time, without prior notice, if we identify fraudulent filings, submission of false vehicle information, default of payments, or violations of these Terms. Users may cancel their account and request deletion of their records from the profile page.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When updates occur, we will adjust the "Last Updated" timestamp at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting active policies will be communicated via email or dashboard alert. Continued utilization of our portal post changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
